Donations
We are praying that the Holy Spirit continues to empower this program and allow it to grow. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Eph. 3:20) So, this program is not going to succeed based just on our hard work. It is going to succeed because the Holy Spirit will make it succeed.
So what does this program cost? $50 (USD) per month pays for one adult student to undergo training for one month. Please take a moment and let that sink in. $50 per month, which is about the cost of a couple going to lunch at a nice restaurant or going to the movies one time and getting popcorn, soda, and candy. $50 which covers the cost for a man or woman to get training so they can climb out of poverty.
The Opportunity
Will you join us? Will you consider helping people who are currently trapped in poverty to climb out? Of note, you do not have to donate any specific amount to the program. If God puts on your heart to donate $1 per month, or just a one-time donation of $1, that is wonderful. In fact, if you are not led to sow into this program, that is fine as well. In the same manner that accepting God's gift of grace is a personal matter, we recognize that all spiritual gifts, including the spiritual gift of giving, must be desired AND accepted by the individual. However, if you do feel led to sow into this program, then please text "GIVE" to the following number which will provide you with a link to set up a one-time account. Open the link and select Dominican Republic Christian Vocational Program. You can also go to our Giving Page.
Lastly, please know that 100% of all funds donated through Cornerstone Christian Center will go to the operation and growth of this program in the Dominican Republic. In full disclosure, donated funds will be used to pay:
Tradesmen and tradeswomen for their time (Instructors)
Supplies
Equipment
Meals during the education day
Transportation to and from the training sites
Loans to some individuals to help them get started in business
Cost to administer the program in the Dominican Republic!
Please PRAY for all these students!!
This woman has been provided funds so that she can get to and from her training sites.
